About Lisa Daly
My name is Lisa Daly and I am an Occupational Therapist serving Ottawa and the surrounding area. I have worked in the private and public sectors in community and in-patient settings for close to ten years.
I really enjoy connecting with clients, setting client-centered goals, and supporting the client as they navigate any challenges that may arise. I am particularly interested in assessing clients for walkers and wheelchairs. I am an Assistive Devices Program (ADP) Authorizer for mobility aids and am able to complete in-home assessments for these devices. I am also certified in the Progressive Goal Attainment Program, which is an evidence-based treatment program for reducing disability associated with pain, depression, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), cancer, and other chronic health conditions.
I enjoy various interests outside of being an OT, including attending concerts, engaging in physical activity, reading, and knitting.

Occupational Therapy (OT) is a healthcare profession that focuses on helping people of all ages and abilities to participate in activities that are meaningful and important to them.
Occupational Therapists work with individuals who have physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges that affect their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and eating, as well as instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), such as housekeeping, shopping, and managing finances.
They also work with people who have developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, or who are recovering from an injury or illness. The occupational therapist will evaluate the person's abilities, limitations, and goals, and work with them to develop a customized treatment plan. My caseload is primarily focused on adults at this time.
